A Home at MaryWash

JSA/Hillel is a student run club dedicated to promoting and enhancing Jewish life on campus.

We meet once a week on Fridays at 5pm to recite the Shabbat blessings, discuss future events, and enjoy the company of the multicultural community here on campus. Our Hillel is also connected to the national Hillel organization. To find out more about Hillel, go here.

Beth Sholom Temple of Stafford County is 10 minutes away by car and is always a source of warmth and learning. Their doors are always open to Mary Washington students, and our Hillel/JSA is always offering rides to anyone who wants to go!

  • Yes, we have one on campus tonight, and he would be welcome (free of charge) at the local synagogue for second seder. Please direct him to our Facebook group or via email to hillel@umw.edu.
